SEO is the First Step

A Wonderful Big Hi to You All Again – and here we are into week four already of our coaching course with Mark Terrell!

We almost couldn’t wait for Thursday to come around for our next lesson. But we reminded ourselves that this is a journey.

  • Relax and enjoy each day of our travels.
  • Happiness can only be found in the now.
  • We can’t be happy for yesterday – or happy for tomorrow.

– therefore we enjoy what we are doing today.

So – after lesson four finished this morning I am left thinking am I crazy with all this philosophy about enjoying every day of our travels, live in the now etc etc.  We have just been given our HOMEWORK –har! that’s stopped us in our tracks. This is all new stuff again for us but more of it this week.

Submitting our site to google for SEO is the first step and then we have to learn how to list our products in JV Giveaways. That Mark has a good sense of humour. JV Giveaways – well we have heard of them. Products! what products exactly does he mean………………..!!!

I have heard one of our fellow newbies say that they felt they must be a bit dumb. I felt so sad for them at the time however who of us hasn’t had those same sorts of doubts. This is human nature.

If it helps, GET MAD at yourself temporarily because you falsely believe you are not a certain something but more importantly GET HELP. Hey we are so new at this but we have learnt heaps. Maybe we can help you – and if we can’t, guess what we have discovered, that there is always someone out there who will help you. One of the very best things I have discovered since we began our online journey is that there are so many genuine helpful newcomers online. They don’t know it all but by sharing what we do know it can fill in the gaps for others. I have found a lot of goodwill and support for each other amongst the newbie community.

How do we tackle all this new stuff like List building, Aweber, Squeeze pages, Plugins and the list goes on. Where do we start? We start at the beginning of the lesson and break it down into little steps and work away one little step at a time. Focus on this one thing until it is completed. We are extremely fortunate to be students of Marks because he offers us so much support in his coaching. So if we get stuck we are straight onto the hotline to Mark. Problem solved.

Last week our homework included looking at other people’s blogs and writing comments. I enjoy reading other people’s blogs so much. I am so impressed with the general calibre of folk online.”Nice” always seems such an overused word but that’s the word that springs to mind when I am reading their blogs.

Yes there are bad people out there, and scams, but let’s not waste our energy on that group.

Apart from all of the excellent techy information there is also a great amount of wisdom to be found in other people’s blogs.

The author of one blog I read so wisely reminded us that – THIS IS NOT A RACE.

Hey how true is that – we all have our OWN unique journey to experience.
