This week we do our first adswap! If you don’t have a list in Internet Marketing then you have no chance of having a business. Exchanging lists with another marketer is one way of building your list.
Fortunately we have a good friend, a couple of steps in front of us. Our friend is going to be our first adswap partner. No big deal for all you folk out there who have done this before but it is a momentous occasion for us………….
Our precious garden has been seriously neglected lately because we spend most of our at home time in front of the computer. Our garden is our haven. When we moved here four years ago we had great fun planting trees. Many of them are nearly close enough now to being called proper trees. Our garden is the perfect place to spend some time reflecting on where we fit into this vast universe. For us, communing with nature has a way of sending answers and a sense of peace. On the weekends we indulge ourselves and sit in the peace of our garden drinking percolated expressos. That gets you buzzing and ready for the day!
It is coming into spring for us in Perth, Western Australia – a beautiful time for the garden. As summer progresses we will get the dry heat and we will see very little rain until winter again.
We differ from the north of Australia and the east coast which receives more rain and has humidity.
Our plan is to move in a couple of years and live in small city called Albany which is on the south coast of Western Australia. We have lived there before and we enjoy the temperate climate. Many English folk migrate there as it reminds them a little like home but with a milder climate. Albany was one of the first places settlers came to back in the early days of colonization. So it has places of historic interest and heritage architecture.
Australia is such an underpopulated big island and is geographically quite isolated. This can be viewed either as a problem or an asset. We love the freedom it affords us and the space it offers. We live on a third of an acre and yet we are less than five minutes, to what we call – hehe, a major shopping centre.
All of this will amount to a pipe dream if we don’t get back to that computer and get cracking on our homework.
Our adswap is at 6 o’clock so fingers crossed………………….
cheers
Allan and Dawn
