SEO and Blogging are Old Friends Now

by Allan and Dawn on September 23, 2010

Well it’s all over now!

Mark Terrell’s Internet Marketing Coaching for Newbies Part One is behind us. Keywords, opt-ins, SEO and blogging – all things that definitely weren’t in our line of comprehension before. Now we chat about these things as if they were old friends. Gee we have moved forward so rapidly. There is still tons of information that is still trailing behind us but now there’s some time to go back and sweep it all into one big heap and make some sense of it.

Thank goodness Coffee has been on special at the supermarket as we have drunk gallons of the stuff recently. As I have said before this internet marketing caper isn’t for sissys.

And I really don’t like to think how many cream doughnuts are sitting on my expanding waistline – I mean is there anyone out there who doesn’t turn to a bit of healthy “comfort eating” when you are tired. Talk about strategies to maintain the mindset correctly when under pressure!

Besides all that, we have had just the best time while doing the course with Mark. And we really feel as though we have a sense of purpose to work towards now.

There have been some funny things happen during the last two months while doing the course. Our most precious commodity has become time! One morning when we got out of bed we discovered a Tomcat under one of the beds. That’s right –a Tomcat! – we couldn’t believe our eyes. It wasn’t our cat and besides we only have sterilized cats. Our cats weren’t too worried about him. He had obviously come in through the cat door looking for food and couldn’t get out again. Anyway we were far too busy to worry about trivialities like having a strange smelly Tomcat under the bed – we had a pile of homework to do that Mark always gave us. So we just left him there!!

The “strange smelly Tomcat” is outside again now. He is called George. We leave him food and over the next few weeks we will trap him and get him sterilized. Oh well another mouth to feed – think we will have to start revving up this internet business so we can afford to look after all these orphans.

Unfortunately/fortunately – don’t know which – Mark has put the Advanced Course back a few months. So, until we get going with that, over the next few months we can play at catch up. This is not only with our internet things but also around the house. We have three leaky taps that we have just had to leave until now to get the time to fix. Our hot water system is behaving very badly and a heap of other chores that have piled up.

Life is so wonderful, and tonight will be even better as we plan on having a relaxing evening – maybe a very pleasant glass of wine even…………….

chat soon
